Stephen Gray – Building a Medieval House

Stephen Gray, MSc Dip Arch ACIfA IHBC will be talking about the methods of building a medieval house. He will examine the felling and conversion of timber, the craft guild skills of the carpenter, frame rearing, daubing and thatching, against a background of logistics, contracts and property law.
